Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Lithuanian Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care and Organizing Committee, I would like to invite you to the 6th International Baltic Congress of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, which will be held in Vilnius, Lithuania on 18 –20 October 2012.

We invite all involved in anaesthesia, intensive care and pain treatment throughout Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Europe to participate in this Congress. The objective of the Congress is to present an up-to-date clinical and scientific information that would be helpful in reaching the better quality of clinical practice and patient care. Symposium lectures, oral presentations and poster sessions will cover a broad range of topics aiming for a good theoretical and practical balance. It will also be an opportunity to get new professional insights and exchange research ideas with experts and participants from different countries.

Hopefully, you will also find time to enjoy the social program. Vilnius is the historical capital of Lithuania dating back to the 14th century. It has the exceptionally beautiful Old Town, and it is rapidly expanding as a modern European city. Thus, we invite you to experience the unique harmony of the past and the present of our Capital.
